Concrete mixers
Drums
of our concrete mixers have capacity of 4 to 12 cubic meters. The
mixers are driven by hydraulic systems made by Sauer, ZF nad Rexroth or
ZTS Sabinov hcustomized for continuous operation due to application of
an oil
cooler with an airflow induced fan. The system is powerd by axial
piston variable displacement pump that transfers the pressure
to a motor
located in the drum's axis, in the front. The motor drives the drum via
a planetary gear and the rotational
speed can be adjusted in the range of 0-14 rpm. The hydraulic pump is
driven by power
take-off
from the vehicle's engine. The power take-off may transfer engine
torque up to 1200 Nm and feed the hydraulic system (rotate the drum)
while the vehicle is in motion.
The frame of concrete mixer is fixed to chassis in such a manner that the concrete mixer's power transmission system is insensitive to deformations of frame side member, which is a first-class feature for a vehicle working in conditions typical for construction sites.
The
concrete mixer is equipped with a water
tank
of 350 or 600 dm3 enabling that concrete mixer can be kept clean at all
times. The pressure is produced by delivering air from pneumatic system
if the chassis onto the water surface. Water under pressure is directed
to an installation that ends with hose with a suitable nozzle ideal for
proper cleaning during and after concrete unloading process - the drum,
hopper and discharge chutes must be rinsed thoroughly so no sediments
or residues of concrete mix gather deposit on them. Capacity of the
water tank decides about the superstructure's total autonomy, as not
always and not on all construction sites is running water available in
necessary amounts.
The drum is
made of ST52-3 steel and rotates on the carrying
rollers made of high-strenght steel. Inside there are mixing
spiral blades made of high-strength and wear-resistant steel. The feeding
hopper, discharge chute and extensions
chutes are also made of wear-resistant steel sheets. During
unloading the concrete mix travels through discharge
hopper to discharge chute that can be rotatedhorizontally by
180o and adjusted vertically by approx. 30°.
As the vehicle's engine is controlled electrically the installation is equipped with an electric controller of rotational speed mouted in waterproof box in the back.
